Neolook is an online archive system for web database construction to store visual images produced in South Korea. It was initiated in 1999 to effectively chronicle visual images generated in society. This is an online storage system to view the invaluable work of contemporary artists who have tried to stay in tune with global while not losing touch with the local. As non-material data has accumulated for the last 10 years, Neolook has worked to sense changes in the art community including artists, curators, art critics, collectors, museums, alternative spaces, galleries, biennales, art fairs, art auctions and exhibitions. In June 2011 Neolook presents another way to read visual images in the App world considerably different from the Web. It is believed that Neolook readers are well aware of its use.
